We’ve asked a few questions to help us learn more about their backgrounds, experiences, and aspirations.
Here’s what they had to say:
What were you doing before joining our team?
Henrik:
With 25+ years in sales and marketing for Healthcare IT, including leadership roles at Elekta, GE, and Medtronic, I bring expertise in
data management, analysis, and market developments. Excited to join Expando after serving as Chief Commercial Officer EMEA at
BC Platforms and being involved with the Swedish Armed Forces since a few years back.
Ulf:
I have several years of experience in the Embedded and semiconductor industry. Previously, I held a similar role at Data Respons,
and prior to that, I worked at a distributor of Electronic Components.
Can you share your experience during your first few weeks at Expando?
Henrik:
The team has a fantastic energy, and they warmly welcome new ideas and experiences. Expando is excellently positioned in the booming
industry of rugged and tactical Defence and Aerospace IT. Their own branded products and strong partnerships make them a reliable choice.
Ulf:
Getting acquainted with my new colleagues and exploring unfamiliar systems and products has been an exciting learning experience.
I am enjoying the opportunity to delve into areas that I haven’t been involved in before.
How do you believe your skills and experience will contribute to your role at Expando?
Henrik:
My extensive background in customer-facing roles involving advanced and demanding applications with lengthy acquisition cycles
will be valuable in this position. Prioritizing customer satisfaction and staying mindful of market developments will be beneficial.
Ulf:
I am committed to providing high-level support, particularly to the sales team. By offering assistance, they can concentrate on important
opportunities and collaborations with our valued customers.
Could you tell us about your journey to join Expando and what excites you about your new role here?
Henrik:
I learned about Expando through discussions with the Chairman of the board, and after meetings with key members,
it became evident that this opportunity was a perfect fit for me to fully embrace the industry.
Meeting the entire team in the spring solidified my belief in this great workplace.
Ulf:
When Calle contacted me about the inside sales position, I recognized the unique growth phase Expando is undergoing and was immediately captivated.
Working with the Expando team on this journey is an opportunity I couldn’t pass up.
The company’s distinctive focus on defense and aerospace customers introduces me to new applications on a daily basis.
